We have a Winner!

It's time to announce the winners for the Holiday Jelly Bean Contest! Thank you to everyone who participated. We had hundreds of entries, and one lucky winner hit the magic number exactly: The actual number of jelly beans in the jar is 1124.

The Grand Prize for picking the correct number of jelly beans is a $150 Visa Gift Card.

We asked our Grand Prize Winner 'How did you figure it out? Was it a lucky guess or did you employ a scientific method?

'He said 'I have no "smart" strategy. I just searched how many jellybeans were in a pound and estimated how many pounds would fill that jar. Then guessed. I had entered more than one guess over the days of the contest, so it wasn't one lucky guess.'Sounds like a pretty smart strategy to us!
