How long will candy stay fresh?

If you have an event coming up in a few months, you'll be fine to order now. Most candy stays fresh a very long time. If you store it in a cool, dry place it should last well over 6 months, and that's a conservative estimate. Chocolate will not last quite as long as other candy, but does well in a cool-to-cold and dry place.
